Unprovoked Appalling Attack – Witness Appeal

“This is an ex-service man who has fought for his country and as a result has to use a wheelchair.” [PC Mark Sallis, investigating Officer.]

It happened at around 9pm on Friday March 11 on the Honeybourne Line between Winston Churchill Gardens and Cheltenham Spa Railway Station. The 52-year-old man from Peterborough, was approached by four people who pushed him along in the wheelchair and then tipped him out. He suffered a head injury and was treated at Cheltenham General Hospital. Luckily, although shaken, he has not suffered serious injuries

This cowardly attack happened at around 9pm on Friday March 11 on the Honeybourne Line between Winston Churchill Gardens and Cheltenham Spa Railway Station.
