Recently we lost two people from the Soul and R & B World, Dobie Gray and Howard Tate.
There will be brief acknowledgement of Dobie Gray as Leon is planning to do a feature on his Talcum Powder Northern Soul show. There will be little more about Howard Tate who, by all accounts, was very under-recognized for his talent: also a few words about Jerry Ragovoy whom we lost s few months ago. Although not an African American, like the duo Lieber & Stoller, he contributed a lot to the development of Rhythm & Blues Music, he also worked closely with Tate
