Positive Young Person, Paige Stokes has recieved an award for her work in the local community. Described as ‘selfless and kind’, she has dedicated herself to supporting others including other young people, the homeless and people with disabilities. Paige has also been involved with Stonham and Young Gloucestershire.
As a result of her extensive charity work, Gloucester City Homes have recognised her with the first ever Young Person of the Year Award.
Special commendation was also given to ‘inspirational’
Andrew Starowicki as runner-up due to his fortitude in overcoming personal challenges without complaining. He was nominated by his father.
Gloucester City Homes chief executive, Ashley Green says “There are many young people throughout the City who are enthusiastic and committed to their community. I’m delighted we are able to thank young people such as Paige who through her voluntary work with young people, the homeless and disabled people is a shining example to others”
