The Raven Centre  is a support for people who are elderly or have a disability. The Raven Centre provides a meeting point for elderly and disabled people so they can enjoy some company and conversation over a hot drink and snack
This Firday Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Steph Mason will be at the Raven Centre’s Christmas lunch. She is a regular caller to the centre and it provides a chance for her to give advice about home security and how vulnerable people can protect themselves against bogus callers.
She says of the centre, “The centre is a great example of the community coming together to help out the more vulnerable within society and I can’t speak highly enough of the workers there.”
The centre is looking for more volunteers to help out for a couple of hours a week. PCSO Steph Mason urges anyone who can help contribute to the briliant work done at this centre to contact 01452 426868 to find out how to get involved.
