		Community Link show Friday edition - Entertainment in the Community

Music is my biggest interest. I like all types of music, but of the music
we play on the air, jazz, funky house and drum and bass are my favourites.

As well as presenting on GFM, I sing and teach at a number of choirs
locally. I play violin, piano and guitar and am in the process of writing
my first album. I enjoy going to gigs and festivals, watching Formula 1 and
cricket, going to the cinema and, of course, socialising on the weekend!

GFM is my first chance at presenting and editing my own tracks. Eventually,
I would like to learn how to mix and become a "proper" DJ!

After Luke had been working with Carol on the Community Link show for a
number of months, he asked her if it would be possible to have his own show.
When Carol said yes, Luke asked me if I would be interested in
co-presenting the show with him. We submitted a demo and a couple of months
later, we were on the air!

It's a huge privilege to be allowed to broadcast to the Community. Having
pretty much free reign on the music we choose to play and the topics we talk
about, being able to influence the Community by playing the music we like is
something I'm not sure you'd be able to do at any other radio station.
That's what makes GFM so special. The most rewarding part is when we get
good feedback from the Community, and the interaction by text and phone.

Shortterm, I want to finish writing and record my own album, buy some DJ
equipment and learn how to mix. Longterm, I want Craig and Luke to be
well-known for our unique approach and high-quality standard of presentation
and content.
