Father was a Rock 'n'
Roll Dj back in the 1970's.I loved the art of Dj'ing but didn't
think much of the music. Then I discovered Electro & heard Planet
Rock by Afrika Bambaata in 1983. Began to listen to local radio
shows from Big Rich Edwards,Roger Tovell & Jerry Hipkiss &
discovered Soul & what has become more widely tagged today as
R'n'B. |

Always been interested
in radio as a medium to be able to reach people. Had spells on another
local radio station but decided GFM with its goals,ambition &
fresh approach was the way forward for local community radio. A
chance to work alongside a talented team of people who I also count
as friends is a huge bonus too. |

I am already doing more than I ever thought I would when I set out to try and get involved in the world of music,but seeing GFM gain a full time broadcast licence & being involved with that would be the icing on the cake.
