Police witness appeals

The police are requesting the community’s support on the following incidents

Man Robbed in Cheltenham
At around 2am on Saturday December 4 a man was robbed on the Lower High Street in Cheltenham.
The 27-year-old from Cheltenham suffered minor injuries during the incident and had £10 stolen from his wallet.
The wallet was later found in Granville Street.
Two offenders are thought to have been involved.
One of the offenders is described as a white man, in his mid twenties, around 6ft tall, clean shaven with medium length spiky hair. He was wearing a smart black shirt
(incident 286 of December 4).

A pedestrian left with serious injuries
suspected hit-and-run in Quedgeley.
The 58-year-old, who lives in the area was taken to hospital by ambulance after being struck in Bristol Road.
Police said he was walking towards Naas Lane roundabout from the direction of Tesco when it took place at 11.40pm on Saturday. He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire police said: “It is believed a vehicle was involved in the incident and failed to stop at the scene.”
It is not known exactly where the hit-and-run on Saturday took place.

Collision at Nettleton Bottom
collision at Nettleton Bottom near Birdlip on Saturday evening, December 4.
The collision happened at approximately 7.15pm and involved a blue BMW 520D and a blue Jaguar XKR.
The driver of the BMW, a 45-year-old man from Berkshire, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to be treated for serious injuries to his legs.
A 57-year-old man from Worcester, the driver of the Jaguar, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving. He has been bailed to return to the police station on February 2 2011, pending further enquiries.
