A 67-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Bull Lane, Gloucester yesterday. Now police are appealing to a member of the public who called the ambulance service to the injured man to contact them.
At approximately 3.45pm yesterday, Wednesday December 1, a man made a 999 call to the ambulance service reporting that a man was on Bull Lane with injuries. The ambulance service attended and discovered a 67-year-old local man with serious injuries. They were met by a man who, after briefly speaking to paramedics, left the area and did not leave any contact details.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Wasley said: “It’s not yet known how this man has suffered these injuries and so we are appealing to the public for their help in tracing his steps prior to the incident. The person or people who spoke to the ambulance service are vital in doing this. “We are also eager to hear from anyone who was in the Longsmith Street and Bull Lane area of the city yesterday afternoon that may have seen this man before he suffered these injuries”
The victim is described as white, around 5ft 6” tall, of medium build and he was wearing a cream/fawn coloured jacket and brown trousers. If you have any information about this incident you are asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 320 of December 1.
