Are you planning to buy a new television as the digital switchover takes place?
If you no longer have a use for your old television, then it can be taken to any of the five county council’s Household Recycling Centres, as well as Swindon Road Household Recycling Centre operated by Cheltenham Borough Council.
About 96 per cent of a relatively modern TV can be recycled.

The county council’s five Household Recycling Centres are at the following locations:
a) Fosse Cross- 6 miles north of Cirencester on the A429
b) Hempsted- 1 mile from Gloucester docks
c) Oak Quarry- 1 mile north east of Coleford
d) Pyke Quarry- 2 miles west of Horsley
e) Wingmoor Farm- 1.5 miles west of Bishop’s Cleeve
In addition, Cheltenham Borough Council run a Household Recycling Centre at Swindon Road, Cheltenham.
