Ashley Dash, 26, of High Street, Aylburton, Lydney has been warned he may face a custodial sentence, together with his brother. A group of men, including the brothers, had been trying to intervene in a fight and things got out of control. There had been an argument at The Fisherman’s Inn in Sedbury and a group of women were fighting. Prosecuting solicitor Louise Pinder said that a group of men including Ashley and his brother Gavin Dash tried to stop it, everyone had been drinking and things got out of control. Ashley landed one punch, a “haymaker” which left David Evans unconscious for about five minutes. Ashley Dash later said that he had been drunk and stupid.
