Gloucester City Homes residents can now make payments into their Gloucestershire Credit Union accounts at GCH Southgate House Office, as a new collection point has opened there. GCH has set up the collection point to promote saving as well as safe and affordable borrowing through the Credit Union and to offer a convenient option for residents to pay into their accounts. Residents can make payments during GCH’s normal office opening hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday.
Vice Chair of GCH Customer Forum Pat Scannell made the first payment at the collection point today, saying that he reccomended people to join this great Credit Union. The new collection point here at GCH will make it very convenient for residents to pay money in.’
Ashley Green, Chief Executive for GCH said: ‘This is great news for our tenants and residents generally. I urge anyone to use the Gloucestershire Credit Union to secure short term affordable loans. Do not use loan sharks or money lenders – use the Credit Union!’ He went on to say: ‘Money lenders and loan sharks leech off those who are vulnerable and who are in desperate need of money.”
