I was born and brought up in the Tredworth, area of Gloucester.

After leaving school I studied Business and Administration before securing my first job in 1981. Since then I have worked my way up through various Business Administration, Secretarial and Supply Chain roles.

During my 28 years of employment I have acquired numerous transferrable skills which will enable me to help our Community Radio Station. I have been listening to GFM since it first started broadcasting and I guess you can call me ‘one of your many silent listeners’.

I may be a ‘silent listener’ however I listen to and rely on GFM on a daily basis and without GFM believe there would be a void in our community. I believe if we all do a ‘little something’ for our Community Radio Station we will help GFM grow from strength to strength.

Working with GFM will fulfil one of my many ambitions, helping me to give back to the Community through my extensive business knowledge and skills.
