Gold Bangles Snatched From Gloucester Jewellers – Appeal for Information

Police are appealing for information after two gold bangles were stolen from a jewellery shop in Gloucester on Saturday.

The theft happened at David Edwards Jewellers in Westgate Street between 4.30pm and 5pm on Saturday, September 11.

A man entered the shop and spoke with staff about two gold bangles in the window display before leaving the shop and coming back. He then grabbed the bangles, with a combined value of over £800, and ran out of the premises without paying.

The offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 9ins tall, between 30 and 35 years of age, and of stocky build. He spoke softly and was wearing white WRG trainers, blue jeans and a blue or black hooded zip-up jacket with a dark colour at the bottom.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 0845 090 1234 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident 401 of September 11.
