The Gloucester Means Business grants scheme started in April 2010 is to continue. A further £20,000 has been agreed, to extend the funding .
Businesses must be a start up business in the first year of trading, although grants of up to £3,000 can still be awarded. Grants can be awarded to pay for up to fifty percent of a businesses first year’s property rents.
Grants will be awarded on a first come first served bases. Applications are available from www.gloucester.gov.uk/business or for further information contact the economic development team on 01452 396986 / 01452 396972
