Interests & Hobbies

I like playing and listening to music. I enjoy playing football, basketball and table tennis as well but most of all I like chilling with my family and best friend.

Musical Background / History

I always had an interest in music from growing up as a child but this keen interest really developed about 3 years ago. I started out playing music at house parties and realised that I enjoyed playing music for people and the response from the audience and the people around me made me decide to go professional. I have been playing music professionally for 2 years now. I play the more popular genres of black music, such as, Reggae, Dancehall, RNB and Soul but I specialise in Reggae and Dancehall.

How did you get involved in GFM?

I always wanted to be a radio presenter and I enjoy listening and playing music as well. I would be at home listening to the different radio presenters on GFM and thought to myself that this is something I would like to be a part of. I like serving and making people happy and music is a great way to do this. With these attributes in mind I decided to get involved with GFM to share my perspective on music to the community.

Achievements

I have been awarded with a Btech National Diploma in Media in 2004. I have been awarded with the “Best Sound System” award in 2007 while being apart of the Rosedust Sound.

Musical Aspirations

I aim to be the best in whatever I do as an individual and in this case its djing. I would like to be the best DJ in the world as soon as possible but for the remainder of the year it is to be more known over the United Kingdom as a DJ.

Most influential tracks

1. “Don’t Worry” by Robert Nesta Marley
2. “ Solid As A Rock” by Sizzla
3. “ Sin Simma” by Beenie Man

Message to GFM Community

I would like to give you a quote that I live by daily and I hope you will take it on in your daily life and pass it on to someone. “If you didn’t define yourself yourself, you would be crushed and eaten alive by what others perceive you to be.”
