Interests & Hobbies
I like to mix various genres of music, of which DnB being my favourite. Recently I have move onto producing my own music and am quite enjoy this at the moment. I also enjoy playing and watching football as hobby.
Musical Background / History
I’ve been a Dj from when was around 16, back then it was all about vinyl. I use to play on various pirate radio stations such Crush FM, Vibes etc … Then move on to local party within Gloucestershire. Due to epilepsy, I stop all together until I was well again and I could control my fits better. This made me have big absence in middle of Dj career, just as was begin to make the right links. But wasn’t about stop there because of my passion for DnB, so as soon as I was well again I made my come back. First joining BiggaSpittaz and then by creating and running own digital mp3 label’s within the DnB Industry. I owned three labels called Da Sound Records, Digital Overload Recordings and Bun E Down. Have played and headline in loads town across England and played at some very good events.
Now am part Stilla Audio, we will show you a different side to Drum n Bass. One that I think GFM listener will be able to appreciate, maybe identify with different influence in this style DnB. Stilla Audio will true be unique experience
How did you get involved in GFM?
I had thought about it before, to showcase myself and my collective. But I’ve always been a bit busy on the weekend so I couldn’t commit to doing a show every week. I have done guest mixes for GFM on several presenter shows and quite enjoyed it. But the difference now, that I have a team am part of. Anytime time a team member can’t do his show, we help each other out and cover which will be important as we all get booking at the weekend from time to time. So it keeps the quality of the show high every time.
Achievements
I’ve not achieved much accredited awards or won any competition but these are some recent things I hold dear to me:-
I had guest mixes play on GFM
Sold thousand of units
Had my tracks play on Radio 1 and 1xtra
Had some number 1 from my labels in the Nu Urban DNB Charts
Played at Big Events, such Hysteria, Innovaction, Brighton Audio
Musical Aspirations
In 5 years time, I would like to be a really well known name within my industry. I would to have played at the top club in Europe and definably get a looking in Sun and Bass week in Italy (One of the best liquid event on the calendar for the year). For Stilla Audio to household name.
