Residents of Gloucester will now find it easier to find online information about work to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in Gloucester following a revamp of the Community Safety Partnership

The updated Safer Gloucester website provides information about how agencies and partners across the city are helping to keep residents safe in their local area. The aim of the website is to make it easier for residents to find out about who is involved in making the city safer, and what is being done to improve community safety.
The new website includes information about how residents can also get involved in helping to make their communities safer, planned crime prevention events points out the key themes that the Partnership are focusing on.
Councillor Andrew Gravells, Cabinet Member for Housing & Health at Gloucester City Council, praised the new look website: “It’s going to be such a useful resource for the Partnership, as we will be able to share information and help build up confidence in our communities. Local people will find it easier to understand who we are , and what we do, and how to contact us”.
Superintendent Gary Thompson added: “Gloucester remains a safe city with overall crime reducing by a further 15.3% in the last year – there have been fewer crimes and more people are caught for the offences they have committed. Through the improvements made to the Partnership website we can share more information about the work we do to keep Gloucester safe”.
