School children from Gloucester will be Singing In The Rain and bringing sunshine to Gloucester Cathedral when they take part in the Cathedral Junior Voices Project on Wednesday 16 November at 6.00pm.
Admission is free and no ticket is required
The youngsters from Grange Primary School, Tuffley and Dinglewell Primary School, Hucclecote will join together with the Cathedral Junior Choir and
the Cathedral Choir, (fresh from their hugely successful tour of South Africa), to perform a short concert of choral music.
The programme will include The Callers and Singing in the Rain (Grange School), Hakuna Matata and Bring me Sunshine (Dinglewell School), Sanctus – Duruflé Requiem (Cathedral Choir) and I’d like to teach the world to sing (joint).
The concert is an opportunity for children to enjoy singing not just in the magnificent surroundings of the Cathedral but proudly to perform in front of family and friends.
