Fog combined with freezing temperatures is making driving conditions difficult for commuters this morning. The fog is patchy so if it appears clear where you are care is still needed.
In places the fog could persist all day and where it does temperatures may well remain below freezing.
Gritters have been out overnight but many roads are icy.
