Gloucester City Homes which is an “Arms Length Management Company” set up to manage Gloucester City’s council housing stock is now recognised by the Audit Comission as providing an “Excellent” housing service.
Gloucester city homes is a not-for-profit company managed by an unpaid Board of Directors consisting of four tenants and a leaseholder, five council nominees and five independent members.
They have now been given the highest possible rating of three stars, in a previous inspection in 2007 they were given two stars and described as good with ‘promising prospects for improvement’. This new rating clearly suggests the company’s focus on delivering plans and service improvement and their satisfied customers feel that they are getting good value for their money.
