How did it all begin for me in Radio? I went along to a well established radio station open day, basically saw what was going on and just thought- ‘I think I’ll like to do this!’
I then started annoying many station managers across the county with demo CD’s and landed a small job with a local independent station. After leaving there I went to GFM and landed my foot in the door, doing behind the scenes work and going out and talking to talking to the community as a community reporter. A year later I was given a slot on a Monday afternoon and as they say the rest is history!
Alongside working at GFM, as a freelancer I’ve worked for other station’s such as Star 107.5, FOD Radio, BBC Local Radio and other stations across the West and UK.
As well as working in Radio, I also work for ‘The Citizen’ as a columnist.
