Around £15,000 Still Available For ‘Facelift’ Grant

Owners and tenants in the Barton Street area are being reminded that cash is still available to help them improve the fronts of their properties. Around £15,000 is still available and council officers are keen to encourage more owners and occupiers to come forward and take advantage of the help on offer.

Council Leader Paul James, commented: “ Schemes like this make a massive contribution to the street scene and the overall look and feel of an area.  With a financial contribution of 60% from the council and the help and advice of our specialist officers drab and dreary shop fronts can be transformed.”

Check out the ‘Picturedrome’ to see what a difference these grants can make!   Further information about the grant scheme is available on the city council website at www.gloucester.gov.uk.
